1. Data Storage Limits
As of the Effective Date, TestRail Cloud customers that purchase TestRail Professional Cloud subscriptions and/or TestRail Enterprise Cloud subscriptions are subject to the following storage limitations with respect to the applicable TestRail Cloud instance:
Included storage for each TestRail Professional Cloud instance: 50GB
Included storage for TestRail Enterprise Cloud instance: 500GB
The amount of storage used by each TestRail instance is the total file size of all attachments uploaded to the instance plus the total size of the database used by the customer.
Customer’s TestRail Administrator(s) can view and monitor the customer’s current Cloud instance data storage in the Administration > Overview area.
2. Data Storage Warning - Close to exceeding the available threshold
If the Company determines that a customer’s TestRail Professional Cloud instance storage is near the threshold of the data storage limit, the Company will provide the customer the opportunity to upgrade from TestRail Professional to TestRail Enterprise along with the option to purchase additional TestRail Cloud instance data storage at the Company’s then-current additional storage rate. If the customer does not wish to purchase additional storage, the customer will be responsible for maintaining total data usage within the defined limits or migrating from Cloud to Server.
3. Data Storage Warning - Limit Reached or Exceeded
If the Company determines that a TestRail Cloud instance current storage size has exceeded the included data storage limit, the Company will be notified within TestRail and via email to the designated account contacts on record. The storage fee calculation is based on the maximum storage limit reached during the billing period. If the customer does not wish to purchase additional storage, the customer will be responsible for maintaining total data usage within the defined limits during the corresponding billing period or migrate from Cloud to Server within thirty (30) days of notification. Upon reaching the next billing cycle, the Customer will assess storage fees based on Section 4 pricing.
The availability of billable storage options will be made available within TestRail. The Company reserves the right to adjust data storage pricing as needed based on availability.
Upon purchasing additional storage, the Customer should make every effort to not exceed the maximum data storage limit described in Section 4 to avoid service limits. Should the instance exceed its Maximum Storage Allowance, the ability to add custom fields along with export capabilities will be disabled temporarily until the customer reduces its storage amount to the included or upgraded data storage limit, or migrates from Cloud to Server. Customers subscribed to TestRail Professional Cloud have the option to upgrade to TestRail Enterprise Cloud to increase included data storage limit along with billable storage options to avoid service limits.
