Idera, Inc. Acquires AquaFold to Expand Database Tools Business

Company significantly expands platform support, including Cloud and NoSQL

July 19, 2017 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Idera, Inc., the leading provider of database, development, and test management tools, today announced an agreement to acquire AquaFold, a provider of powerful and easy to use cross-platform database tools. AquaFold will join Idera, Inc.’s database development and management portfolio, enabling the company to significantly expand its multi-platform support, and meet the needs of nearly all database professionals.

AquaFold’s Aqua Data Studio is used by more than 300,000 IT professionals in 98 countries to help them design, develop, model and administer their databases. It provides an integrated database environment that supports the most popular open source version control systems, legacy enterprise and open source relational databases, and NoSQL databases, and works on all major operating systems including

Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
